A SURPRISE! we had 29 at the 4pm Taize Service on 6th March.

Liz Cundy, who led the singing with her friend, also brought along the Taize Cross that the Cathedral use, which is similar to one at the Community in Taize, France. During the service we lit candles which were placed around the Taize Cross.

Our music group played very sensitively, Liz was the cantor and we all surprised ourselves at how beautiful the simple chants sounded as we joined in.

With times of quiet and also prayer it was a very special hour to spend in worship and fellowship followed, of course, by cups of tea and coffee.
